Project Details
Streamside Orvis is a Traverse City staple for Northern Michigander’s outdoor apparel and fishing gear. You can find this cute and quaint store right in downtown Traverse City, and it’s the perfect store for any of your outdoor wants and needs.
Orvis needed an online system that was integrated with their in store point of sales system. To accomplish this, we needed to migrate their old site to Magneto 2, where their eccomerce could thrive with their POS system.
We couldn’t wait to get started on this project. Aside from updating their ecommerce, we wanted to give Orvis Streamside an updated design with more functionality. And of course, we also wanted to make sure this awesome Traverse City store was getting the most out of their site.

Updated design & functionality
Although the main goal of this project was to update Orvis Streamside’s ecommerce, we knew it was time for some updates. So, we adjusted some of the site designs and enhanced its functionality.

In order to keep Orvis Streamside’s point of sales system in touch with their generated online sales, our team migrated most of the original site’s content onto Magneto 2.

How it helped
Orvis Streamside needed an update to their site that would still be compatible with their in store point of sales system. We helped Orvis achieve this by completely migrating their old system to Magneto 2 where it was able to better communicate with their in store system.
We’re glad this migration was a success and we could help Orvis interconnect both their in store and online purchases all from one place.
Aside from keeping the site in touch with their POS system, we also updated various designs and functions on the site, ultimately crafting a better experience for both the user and employees who work in the store.
